Because she was telling Sera to tell Conan about this, the statement is directed at him. Because of this, it would be "his" sister, not "her", because Conan is a male.

Strangely enough, I heard "ryoiki-gai" which does mean "outside of the domain", but I guess in this case it might make more sense to translate it as "world" or "dimension"? I'm not too sure. Domain sounds weird in English is all. Another thing is she says she's the "imouto", which means younger/little sister. That doesn't make sense to say to Conan, since Mary looks older than him, so why younger sister?

Of course, all of this is brought back up because Sera calls Mary "her younger sister" so I guess Mary was talking to Sera? Honestly, this doesn't make too much sense to me. Why would Mary tell Sera to tell Conan that she's a younger sister particularly from "another domain". Wouldn't it make more sense to just say tell him she's (Mary) is Sera's younger sister and drop the "another domain"?

I think the case is that Mary was directing the speech towards Conan in this scene, and Sera happened to say something similar in a later scene, while dropping the "another domain" part of it, since it would sound pretty strange.

Man the old man's motivation and thoughts were one of the most idiotic. Maybe he was suffering from some kind of early dementia with his age. It was a wild jumping to conclusion without her doing anything that suspicious and he decided to murder her cruelly like that.

Out of many of the criminals revealed, I hate him more than others for some reason. Maybe because of all of that.
